He is now Adjunct Fellow and Teaching Associate at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music at the Monash University in Melbourne (Australia).

He also teaches at Brighton Grammar School, at Wesley College (Glen Waverley) and at Huntingtower School.

As an educator, Guerrini has taught at the “Giuseppe Verdi” music school of Prato for 7 years,.

He also was a professor of Jazz Saxophone and Ear Training at the “Istituto Musicale Pareggiato” (Conservatorium) “P. Mascagni” in Livorno.

Has been invited as visiting professor at Monash University of Melbourne (2005, 2009, 2011 and 2012) and at UTAS in Hobart in Australia as well as at the Banff Centre for Performing Arts in Canada (2010, 2012), and has been the Keynote speaker at a Conference on “Musical Perspectives” at the Warwick University, in Warwick, UK in 2012. In 2013 he has been appointed as “Adjunct fellow” and “Teaching associate” at Monash University of Melbourne.
